Comcast will feature inlanguage video tutorials on how to complete one’s Censor form…

Comcast Corp. and other four other cable companies will be providing public-service announcements urging people to participate in the 2010 U.S. Census.

The “Make a Difference” campaign is being launched today and will run through March 15. A second spot will run March 15 to April 15. Actress Eva Longoria-Parker appears in the spots (check them out here).

El Centro Latino está colaborando con el Censo 2010.

¿Qué es el Censo?

¿Qué es el Censo?

El Censo de los EE.UU. cuenta a cada residente de los Estados Unidos, y la Constitución requiere que éste se lleve a cabo cada 10 años. Los datos que el Censo recoge ayudan a que las comunidades reciban más de 400 mil millones de dólares en fondos federales cada año para hospitales, centros de capacitación laboral, escuelas y más.

No podemos continuar hasta que usted lo reenvíe.

En marzo de 2010, un formulario corto de 10 preguntas será enviado a cada hogar de los EE. UU. y Puerto Rico. Cuando reciba el formulario, simplemente responda las 10 preguntas cortas y luego envíelas por correo, en el sobre con franqueo pagado adjunto.

El formulario del censo es FÁCIL DE COMPLETAR, IMPORTANTE para usted y para el futuro de su comunidad, y sobre todo SEGURO.

Su identidad y la información que nos brinda son privadas y están protegidas por leyes federales. Asimismo, no se le harán preguntas relacionadas con su situación legal en el país.

Si no envía por correo el formulario completado, podrá ser visitado por un censista. El censista es un empleado de la Oficina del Censo de los Estados Unidos, generalmente alguien de su comunidad, que visitará su domicilio para recolectar la información requerida en el formulario del censo.

Cada censista hace el juramento de proteger la información que usted brinda. Es ley.

Si no recibimos el formulario completo por correo, un censista visita su hogar para recopilar la información.
